Call me La Rhonda...

As someone of Sicilian heritage, making food is a process I feel deeply connected to. Like many of the cultures that live in the United States, we all come from somewhere. The way we make our food and the ingredients we use reflect the origins of our cultural heritage. In the Art and Language of Food, I teach cooking and food preservation and give our Grandmothers all the credit.

The ingredients...

I use locally sourced produce from regional farms...

The dish...

Just a few ingredients and you have dinner...

The goods...

The process of food preservation is a lot of work, but  so satisfying...

Preparing and Preserving Food is an Art...

Visit me at the New Bedford Farmets Markets all year long where I teach folks how to prepare local foods with "SNAP to the MAX", "Learn to Love Local" and "We Can Farm" with invited chefs and people who love to cook from the community.
Free to the public!

All levels of experience are welcome at any of our creative classes.
Visit the calendar to keep up on the latest happenings and where I will be next.
